Registered Dental Assistant - Opportunity to work in a new, state-of-the-art Pediatric Dental Office! 

$1000.00 Sign-on Bonus

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $20.77 to -$28.00 /hour (Bases on experience)  plus Bonus

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Assists the doctor in procedures 

• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays 
• Prophy teeth 
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene 
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor 
• Sterilizes instruments 

• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment 
• Take IO's 
• Charting 
• Sealants, if applicable 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:  

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred 
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  

• California Registered Dental Assistant License 
• X-Ray Certification 

• Coronal Polish Certification required  
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification, preferred
