Job Description
- Responsible for obtaining new and existing prescription renewals from dialysis facilities and/or physician offices through verbal authorizations via inbound/outbound calls
- Securing prescription orders for patients whose prescriptions are not on file or for existing prescriptions that have no refills
- Making outbound calls to follow up with Doctors regarding prescription issues, i.e. new scripts, clarify scripts, codes are incorrect, etc.
Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) of experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in Texas (no disciplines on file)
- Strong customer service skills
- Data entry and fill experience
- Excellent communication skills (listening, oral, and written)
- Retail pharmacy and mail order experience preferred, but not required
