Reporting Administrator, Compliance & Risk
About this role
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Compliance team in managing compliance records, documentation, and reporting activities.
- Prepare monthly compliance reports and support compliance cost model updates.
- Conduct compliance audits, evidence reviews, and business control assessments; analyse findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and communicate compliance updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Review and interpret technical and contractual documentation, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), EPC contracts, interconnection agreements, O&M agreements, permits, and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with engineering and other internal teams to ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in weekly planning meetings and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience in regulatory compliance, internal controls, compliance reporting, or document management.
- Experience in the power, utility, transmission, or renewable energy industry is preferred.
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings and commercial agreements.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and compliance audits.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Good understanding of electrical substations, transmission systems, and power system fundamentals.
- Ability to understand Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and other engineering, contractual, and regulatory documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively across teams.
- Working knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) systems and renewable energy projects is an advantage.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or organizations.
- Knowledge of renewable energy regulations and industry best practices.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Experience in renewable energy, transmission, substations, or utility projects is preferred.
