Job Description

Role Overview

The specification engineer is responsible for the end-to-end specification and requirements engineering of steering system components, ensuring technical consistency, completeness and compliance with system and OEM requirements

  • Strong background in automotive project coordination / PMO
  • Proven experience in requirements engineering
  • Strong knowledge of mechatronic systems (ideally steering systems)
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and documentation quality
  • Minimum 5 years of experience

Qualifications

EXPERTISE 

  • Experience in automotive development (preferred VW)
  • Experience in steering development (preferred)
  • Project management
  • Requirements engineering
  • Hardware development – wiring diagram, design and layout, EMV
  • Mechanic development – installation space investigation, technical drawings, system design, acoustic, stiffness
  • Software development – run time, architecture, trace analysis, 
  • Verbund management from component view (preferred)
