Essential Functions

  • Provide support to the program team as a whole, plugging a variety of gaps and program needs as they arise.  This may include the following:
    • Management of field work including scheduling and conducting  assessments, coordinating program activities, and management of program data (i.e. tracking activity implementation and completion) in All Hands & Hearts’ organizational database
    • Team and volunteer coordination including outreach, communication, base and site orientation, scheduling, and overall management on program.
    • Financial and logistics support including cash counts, vendor invoices, working with off program financial support, and vendor relations as needed.
    • Tracking of material usage, work records, and other data as needed.
    • Leading teams in the field through coordination and management,including offering skilled troubleshooting and translating as necessary
  • Support beneficiary assessments, targeting, registration, verification, distributions, and post-distribution monitoring
  • Work with Project Manager and/or Operations Manager to organize and manage transport and telecommunications for teams in the field
  • Work with the Project Manager on procurement and delivery of supplies, tools, and materials for program activities
  • Support overall base management and general program operations.
  • Reviewing, modifying, and implementing appropriate health and safety practices, including risk assessments, incident reporting, training, and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as required


Position Requirements

  • Education  High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Related Experience  1+ years experience in coordination in humanitarian responses.
    Previous experience with All Hands and Hearts preferred.
  • Special Competencies/Certifications  
  • Language Spanish fluency required; working knowledge of English preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets; and Microsoft Office. The applicant needs to be well organized, detail oriented and process driven. The applicant should have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment. 


Working Conditions and Physical Demands 

  • Constantly works in outdoor adverse weather conditions
  • Frequently moves items weighing up to 40 lbs on work site or on base
  • Frequently operates computer
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 
  • Frequently travels to remote project locations
  • Living in communal environment
  • High stress situations in an immediate post-disaster environment with limited amenities.


Compensation & Benefits 

  • Typical salary is $1200/month
  • Room & board 
  • Visa extension reimbursement
  • Travel to and from program location 
  • Coverage for emergency medical injury or illness if outside country of origin
