Company Description

For one of its affiliate companies specializing in bespoke interior design projects for private homeowners, property developers, construction companies and architects, BESIX is looking for a Retail Coordinator to ensure the daily follow-up of the 4 shops in Belgium and in France. 

Job Description

The role requires regular presence on the shop floor, sales coaching of the store teams, and close follow-up of sales figures.

Reporting to the COO, you are the operational link between headquarters and the shops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit the shops on a regular basis for constant on-the-floor follow-up
  • Coach the sales teams on sales technique, customer service, and reaching individual targets
  • Track daily KPIs per shop (turnover, conversion rate, average basket) and flag deviations
  • Build corrective action plans with store managers in case of underperformance
  • Ensure brand standards are applied: merchandising, shop presentation, customer experience
  • Run regular check-ins with each shop team (briefings, debriefings)
  • Support onboarding and training of new retail staff
  • Relay shop needs to headquarters (product, stock, operations)
  • Report to the COO on performance and actions taken, with supporting figures

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in retail sales, ideally as a store manager or area/regional manager
  • Proven experience coaching and leading in-store sales teams
  • Strong ability to read sales figures and turn them into concrete actions
  • Field-based mindset: available for frequent travel between the 4 shops
  • Experience in design, interior, or premium/luxury segments is an asset
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
  • Attention to detail, rigor, and autonomy
