Job Description

Summary of the Role

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

📋 Maintain and update the Infrastructure Risk Register, ensuring risks are identified, assessed and managed in line with MOD policy.

⚠️ Coordinate regular risk reviews with infrastructure teams, ensuring risks remain current and supported by effective mitigation plans.

📊 Monitor risk actions, track progress and ensure accountability for timely closure.

📈 Produce risk reports and trend analysis to support governance meetings and senior decision-making.

🚨 Escalate significant and emerging risks through the appropriate governance channels.

🔗 Ensure alignment with the wider Integrated Risk Management (IRM) framework and reporting standards.

🔄 Support the continuous improvement of risk management processes, tools and reporting.

🤝 Work collaboratively with infrastructure, compliance and leadership teams to promote effective risk management and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• Risk management knowledge
• Infrastructure experience

Desirable:

• Experience of working with the Ministry of Defence / HM Government
• Experience of working in highly regulated environments

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

Essential:

• HNC level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
