Overview

Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse, RN House Supervisor to join the team in Battle Creek, MI.

About Us: Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital is a 96-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital. Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital addresses the growing need in southwest Michigan for more accessible, high-quality behavioral health services.

 

Shift availablity:  

Full-time / Night Shift: 7:00pm-7:30am (3-12 hour shifts)

 

What You'll Do: 

  • Assess patients’ behavioral and physical health needs and deliver compassionate, trauma‑informed nursing care.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing treatment plans throughout the continuum of care.
  • Safely administer medications, including behavioral health and detox protocols, with accurate documentation and controlled substance tracking.
  • Monitor patient status on an ongoing basis and communicate significant behavioral or medical changes to providers and the care team.
  • Educate patients and families, maintain compliant medical records, and adhere to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish therapeutic, professional relationships while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient recovery.

 

What You Bring: 

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment.
  • At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.
  • Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de‑escalation and restraint training (provided upon hire, if needed).
  • First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines.
  • Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.
