Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Stroke Nurse, you will demonstrate mastery of the specific knowledge and skills required for a specialty in nursing. Under the direction of the Director of Neuroscience Operations, you will be responsible for facilitating and supporting care for patients who are suspected or confirmed of having an acute stroke.Every day, you will apply your knowledge of standards and evidence-based practice to enhance the quality of care for both the patient and their family. Your primary function will be assisting with the care of patients during the hyperacute phase of stroke. You will serve as the crucial clinical resource in providing direct and indirect care, aimed at optimizing patient assessment, continuity of care, education, and the facilitation of ongoing treatment. You will also serve as a key contact for physicians, referring physicians, hospitals, patients, and families to facilitate the collaboration and coordination of patient care services, ensuring the highest level of care possible. To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional clinical expertise in acute stroke care, strong communication and coordination skills, and a deep understanding of evidence-based practices and regulatory compliance. Your ability to effectively manage care during the hyperacute phase, serve as a vital clinical resource, and ensure meticulous documentation of quality initiatives will be essential in improving stroke patient outcomes and maintaining high standards of care

Positions can be found under National Resident RN (<12 months experience as an RN) or RN Transition/Fellowship (>12 months experience as an RN.

Required
- 1-3 years Minimum 2 years acute care experienceas an RN in ICU or ER units., upon hire and
