About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) to lead our SAFe transformation journey and establish Agile Release Trains (ARTs) for our Integration Team. The SPC will play a critical role in coaching leadership, guiding teams, and ensuring successful adoption of SAFe practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAFe Transformation Leadership
- Drive the end-to-end SAFe transformation strategy and roadmap.
- Conduct SAFe readiness assessments and identify organizational gaps.
- Facilitate change management and cultural adoption of Lean-Agile principles.
- ART Setup & Execution
- Design and launch Agile Release Trains (ARTs) for the Integration Team.
- Facilitate PI Planning events, ART syncs, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
- Ensure alignment between business strategy and ART objectives.
- Coaching & Enablement
- Coach executives, managers, Product Management, and teams on SAFe roles and responsibilities.
- Mentor Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
- Build internal capability for sustaining SAFe practices post-transformation.
- Governance & Metrics
- Define and track Lean Portfolio Management metrics and ART performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with SAFe principles and organizational governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Certification: SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification is mandatory.
- Experience:
- 8+ years in Agile delivery, with at least 3+ years as an SPC.
- Proven experience in leading SAFe transformations and ART launches.
- Strong background in large-scale system integration projects.
Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of SAFe framework, Lean-Agile principles, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Rally, or equivalent Agile lifecycle management tools.
People Skills:
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change across multiple levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Integration Programs or System-of-Systems environments.
- Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, telecom).
- Additional certifications: RTE, LPM, or SAFe DevOps Practitioner.
