Currently, we are bidding for Highway projects across India. The position of Safety Expert (Safety Engineer) is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• Responsible for checking and verifying the Safety Plan prepared by the Contractor.
• Ensure effective implementation of the Safety Plan, undertake safety audits during Construction, Operation and Maintenance of the Tunnel/Bridge/Road.
• Ensure that safety provisions as per relevant codes are strictly followed at site during construction and also during maintenance period of the project.

Profile/Skills

• Graduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent from recognized university.
• Total Professional Experience of at least 20 years.
• Experience of at least 10 years in transportation tunnel safety works management.
• At least 7 years’ experience in transportation tunnel (Road/Rail/Metro) safetyworks.
• Experience in similar capacity of tunnel safety audits during construction stage of at least 2 transportation tunnel projects (Road/rail/Metro) each of which should be minimum 3.494 km in length.
• Experience in similar capacity of Tunnel/Bridge Safety Audits in design stage ontunnel projects (Road/Rail/Metro).
• Not more than 65 years of age.
