Sales Setter / Executive

About the Role

Our client is a business growth and events company that helps ambitious entrepreneurs access the events, tools, education, and communities they need to grow their businesses.

As a Sales Setter / Executive, you’ll be the first human voice many dormant leads hear. Your primary responsibility will be to re-engage prospective customers and invite them to attend paid business events.

This is a high-volume, performance-driven sales role suited to someone who is comfortable working towards clear daily activity and conversion targets. You’ll also benefit from AI-powered call monitoring, which provides feedback after each conversation to support continuous coaching and performance improvement.

ey Responsibilities

• Contact approximately 3,000 dormant leads per month through outbound calling.
• Re-engage previous leads and prospects.
• Introduce prospects to the company’s paid business events.
• Invite and convert suitable prospects to attend events.
• Work towards daily outbound call and conversion targets.
• Maintain a consistently high level of activity and follow-up.
• Receive and act on AI-generated call feedback after conversations.
• Continuously improve call quality, objection handling, and conversion performance.
• Accurately track conversations, outcomes, and follow-up activity.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone commercially minded, resilient, energetic, and motivated by results.

Some previous experience within sales, business development, lead generation, telesales, appointment setting, or another commercial environment would be beneficial, but it is not essential.

More importantly, you should have:

• A genuine understanding of business and why customers make purchasing decisions.
• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking to new people.
• A positive, energetic attitude.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to maintain consistent activity.
• The resilience to handle rejection and remain motivated in a high-volume outbound environment.

• The discipline to work effectively in a remote environment.

You do not need a perfect CV or a university degree. Attitude, work ethic, commercial awareness, coachability, and resilience are more important than traditional qualifications.

Role Environment

This is a remote position within a fast-paced and target-driven sales environment.

Cold outbound calling is a significant part of the position, so candidates should be comfortable making a high volume of calls and speaking with prospects who may not initially be expecting to hear from them.

The successful candidate will receive regular performance feedback and coaching, with AI technology used to analyse calls and support ongoing development.
