🚀 SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Architect (Post-Upgrade Optimization) 🚀

We are hiring a Senior SAP Finance Lead/Architect for an elite corporate transformation initiative in Calgary! This role is built for a strategic yet hands-on expert who can take a freshly upgraded S/4HANA ecosystem and completely optimize it for peak operational and analytical performance.

📍 Location: Calgary, AB, Canada (Full-time Onsite)

⏳ Experience Level: 8+ Years Total SAP Finance Experience (Minimum 3+ years hands-on S/4HANA FI/CO).

🎯 CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: Proven track record leading post-upgrade optimization and finance transformation in newly upgraded environments.

🛡️ Core Domain Expertise:

  • S/4HANA Finance Modules: FI/CO, Project Systems (PS), Treasury & Risk Management (TRM), Cash Management, and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
  • Strategic Architecture: Designing a comprehensive 3-year finance technology roadmap capitalizing on advanced S/4HANA capabilities.
  • Technical Ecosystems: Managing integrations with external financial systems (planning, consolidation) and leading testing/validation for complex functional enhancements.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Direct continuous improvement and post-upgrade optimization workflows; coordinate customizations with outsourced development teams and corporate stakeholders.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive business process reengineering (BPR), design real-time reporting/analytics, and lead month-end close automation initiatives.
  • Technical Governance: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for deep FI/CO configurations, automated internal controls, audit trails, and provide Level 3 escalation support.

✔️ Preferred Assets:

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting designation.
  • Hands-on exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BPC, or RPA tools for finance process automation.
