Context

The SE&SI Expert is involved on all the phases of railways projects including tender, design, manufacturing, testing and commissioning, operation and maintenance, upgrade and renovation for urban, intercity and high-speed rail applications.

Missions/Main Duties

The scope of work of the SE&SI Expert includes:

  • Analysis of client requirements.
  • Production of overall railway systems concept design with overall architecture, specifications and interfaces definition.
  • Preparation of tender documents for projects.
  • Support to the client during tender phase for tender specification, tender supervision, tender proposal evaluation, etc.
  • Production of railway system engineering management plans.
  • Production of railway system integration and interface management plans.
  • Production of interface matrix.
  • Production of interface control documents.
  • Ensure railway systems are properly interfaced and integrated.
  • Support the client for design review, manufacturing / upgrade / renovation, Factory Acceptance Test and site installation.
  • Support the client for testing and commissioning phase.

 

The SE&SI Expert may work on several tender and projects simultaneously.

Profile/Skills

At least 10 years’ experience as a Railway Engineer, minimum 5 years’ experience in System Engineering and System Integration.

Portuguese as working language is mandatory.
