The Plot Thickens: Job Description (PR focused)

• Develop high-quality PR content, including press releases, executive briefing materials, media Q&As, bylined articles, media pitches, and other client-facing materials.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare media reports, campaign recaps, and other account deliverables, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timely delivery.
• Work closely with account teams to support client programs, contribute ideas, and ensure projects are delivered effectively and on schedule.
• Support the planning and execution of media engagements, including press briefings, interviews, roundtables, media events, and other integrated communications activities.
• Build, maintain, and leverage media relationships across business, financial, technology, industrial, and automotive sectors. Support media outreach, story development, and interview opportunities.

The Hero’s Background: Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably within an agency environment.
• Experience supporting technology, B2B, industrial, automotive, or other innovation-driven sectors is preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to independently develop media-facing content and participate in client discussions.
• Good understanding of the media landscape; existing relationships with business, financial, technology, industrial, or automotive media are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Curious, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and a genuine interest in communications and technology.
