Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Director, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality operational services and client outcomes across a range of financial products and transactions. You will work closely with clients, investors, internal stakeholders, and team members to ensure operational activities are executed accurately, risks are managed appropriately, and service standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution and review of daily operational activities, ensuring transactions, cash movements, investor-related activities, and reporting deliverables are completed accurately and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, managing day-to-day queries, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring a high standard of client service.
• Monitor operational activities and investigate exceptions, discrepancies, and issues, escalating risks or concerns as appropriate and supporting timely resolution.
• Apply knowledge of investment funds, financial instruments, payments, and transaction lifecycles to support operational processes and deliver positive client outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues, sharing technical knowledge and assisting with the resolution of operational challenges and client queries.
• Participate in departmental initiatives, process improvement activities, and projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, controls, risk management, and the overall client experience.
• Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment while promoting MUFG's core values of Trust, Challenge & Empowerment, Passion for Clients, and Openness & Honesty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience within financial services, including fund administration, banking, custody, transfer agency, asset management, wealth management, securities operations, payments, or a related environment.
• Knowledge of investment funds, financial instruments, transaction processing, cash operations, and operating within a controlled and regulated environment would be considered an advantage
• Experience reviewing and processing financial transactions, investigating exceptions, and ensuring operational accuracy and service quality.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
