Job Overview:Ā ConveraĀ is expanding its footprint in the UK and seeking aĀ high impactĀ Senior Business Development ManagerĀ to accelerate growth acrossĀ Channel & Integrated Partnerships, Enterprise Sales, andĀ masspaymentĀ solution adoption.Ā
Ā This role focuses on sellingĀ ConveraāsĀ integrated payment solutions, includingĀ APIdrivenĀ capabilities, embedded FX, andĀ crossborderĀ payment technology to platforms, payroll providers, workforce management systems, and large enterprises with complex payment needs.Ā
Ā The ideal candidate brings a strongĀ track recordĀ in B2B enterprise sales, experience selling technical orĀ APIenabledĀ solutions, and the ability to build strategic partnerships that scale.Ā
Ā Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
Sales Strategy & ExecutionĀ
- Drive new business acquisition across enterprise clients, platforms, and channel partners.Ā
- Build and execute a UK go-to-market strategy focused on integrated payments, API adoption, andĀ masspaymentĀ use cases.Ā
- Develop a continuously growing pipeline usingĀ data drivenĀ targeting, outbound prospecting, and strategic networking.Ā
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to positionĀ ConveraāsĀ integrated solutions effectively.Ā
Ā Lead Generation & ProspectingĀ
- IdentifyĀ and engage prospects across payroll platforms, HRIS providers, workforce management systems, marketplaces, and enterprise clients withĀ crossborderĀ payment needs.Ā
- Build referral networks and partnerships with ecosystem players, advisors, and technology partners.Ā
- Deliver compelling demos and solution walkthroughs, articulating the value ofĀ ConveraāsĀ API and platform capabilities.Ā
Ā Relationship Building & ManagementĀ
- Build longĀ term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, includingĀ CSuite, product, and technology leaders.Ā
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client roadmaps and aligningĀ ConveraāsĀ solutions to their integration and payment needs.Ā
- Ensure a smooth transition to onboarding and account management teams.Ā
Ā Negotiation & Contract ManagementĀ
- Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial and scalable agreements.Ā
- Work with legal, finance, and product teams to structure compliant, commercially sound contracts.Ā
- Monitor performance and ensure clients meet contractual and operational commitments.Ā
Ā Collaboration & CrossĀ Functional AlignmentĀ
- Partner with presales,Ā product, bid, customer assurance, and customer care teams to deliver seamless client experiences.Ā
- ProvideĀ market insights to influence product development, pricing, and competitive positioning.Ā
- RepresentĀ ConveraĀ at industry events, conferences, and partner forums.Ā
Ā Reporting & AnalysisĀ
- MaintainĀ accurateĀ forecasting and pipeline management using Salesforce.Ā
- AnalyseĀ performance metrics toĀ identifyĀ trends, risks, and opportunities.Ā
- Contribute toĀ strategic planning and broader business development initiatives.Ā
Ā QualificationsĀ
ExperienceĀ
- 7+ years in B2B sales, ideally within payments, fintech, SaaS, or financial services.Ā
- Experience sellingĀ APIĀ led,Ā platform, orĀ technical solutionsĀ into enterprise or channel environments.Ā
- Strong network across payroll, HR tech, workforce management, marketplaces, or enterprise payment buyers (preferred but not essential).Ā
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex buying cycles.Ā
- BackgroundĀ in financial institutions or consultingĀ isĀ advantageous.Ā

- Strong understanding of international payments, FX, andĀ masspaymentĀ workflows.Ā
- Ability toĀ operateĀ in a targetĀ driven environment with a proactive,Ā opportunity creatingĀ mindset.Ā
- Excellent stakeholder management andĀ cross functionalĀ collaboration skills.Ā
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, business case development, and opportunity sizing.Ā
- Exceptional communication, presentation, andĀ proposal writingĀ skills.Ā
Ā Technical ProficiencyĀ
- Comfortable sellingĀ API basedĀ or integrated solutions.Ā
- Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and digital collaboration platforms.Ā
