About the Job
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales person who has prior experience in managing their own sales target, engaging with and generating new revenue from existing clients. The Senior Commercial Executive combines an excellent knowledge of the FMCG industry and a deep understanding of NIQ products and services.

You will be responsible for aligning key customer priorities and insights back to NIQ’s capabilities, identifying & converting opportunities to deepen commercial relationships and drive additional revenue.

You will be responsible for owning the commercial relationship with the clients, delivering on the revenue plans by negotiating the renewal of continuous services whilst identifying opportunities to meet growth targets. You will develop effective relationships between individuals and teams both internally and with clients, to provide best in class NIQ / client commercial partnerships. You'll devise a strategic approach for developing a group of clients through agile and flexible solutions that deliver value in a profitable way. We are looking for someone who is ready to drive positive change, be a good team member, challenge wider business processes and be fully driven by achieving success with the support of the wider industry team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong networking and engagement with key players in client networks
  • Understanding how to price NIQ's products and the processes we use.
  • Ownership of a portfolio of clients worth around $3m+ per annum, responsible for renewals, incremental sales and relationship management for these clients, together with accurate and timely account planning and revenue forecasting
  • Own the planning and pricing strategy, Commercial documentation creation and pitch presentations for RFPs
  • Be the voice of the client within NIQ, owning the quarterly review and JBP processes with your Customer Success counterparts and be a point of escalation for the client for any problems that need support solving
  • Work collaboratively with other teams within NIQ to maximise the client experience

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial role.
  • A proven track record in Sales and managing a target.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience selling enterprise based solutions.
  • A proven ability to generate and convert leads across a portfolio of existing clients.
  • An understanding of the issues facing FMCG manufacturer and retailers.
  • FMCG experience and understanding of data would be an advantage. 

What We offer 

  • 32,000 EUR - 40,000 EUR Annually. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.
