Senior Consultant – Forensics - Data Analytics

Role Overview

ü As a Senior Consultant in the Forensics practice, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality client engagements across investigations, dispute resolution, and financial crime matters. You will take ownership of defined workstreams and support the engagement manager in the overall delivery of projects, while working closely with project teams under the oversight of the Engagement Partner/Director. You will contribute to the successful delivery of complex and sensitive engagements, collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams. Being hands-on, you will have a strong understanding of forensic methodologies and investigative processes, applying this knowledge to analyse issues, identify risks, and develop practical, evidence-based solutions. You will be actively involved in managing data analysis, reviewing findings, and preparing clear, defensible reports for clients and stakeholders, while continuing to build your technical expertise and leadership capabilities

Key Responsibilities

ü Lead and perform background research on clients, industries, and key risk areas, including on-site engagement to understand business operations, processes, and key stakeholders

ü Execute and contribute to complex engagements across risk services, including financial crime, investigations, and anti-bribery and corruption reviews, taking ownership of key workstreams

ü Prepare and review working papers, ensuring well-structured audit trails that clearly support conclusions and recommendations

ü Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and indicators of risk, misconduct, or control weaknesses, and translate findings into actionable insights

ü Draft and review high-quality reports, findings summaries, and supporting documentation for clients, internal stakeholders, and legal teams

ü Evaluate risk policies, procedures, systems, and controls, assessing compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements, and provide recommendations for improvement

ü Continuously build technical expertise and apply this knowledge to deliver practical, value-added advice to clients

ü Communicate confidently and effectively with stakeholders, including presenting findings and insights to managers, clients, and senior leadership where required

ü Support and contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and methodology development

ü Collaborate with team members across levels, while guiding junior staff and supporting knowledge sharing to ensure effective engagement delivery
