Currently, we are bidding for Highway projects across India. The position of Senior Contract Management Specialist is the key position in these BIDs.
Missions/Main Duties
- Administer the construction contract and ensure compliance with contract conditions, procedures, and obligations by all parties
- Review and advise on contractual correspondence, notices, claims, variations, extension of time requests, and disputes.
- Support the supervision team in the interpretation and application of contract provisions during project implementation
- Assess contractor’s claims, variation orders, and contractual entitlements, and provide recommendations to the Client
- Monitor contractual risks and support timely resolution of commercial and contractual issues
- He/ She will be responsible for giving appropriate suggestions in handling claimsof the contractors and any dispute arising thereof.
Profile/Skills
- He/ She should be a graduate in civil engineering from a recognized institute
- He/She should have professional experience of minimum 15 years in the construction field
- He/ She should have experience of at least five years as contract management specialist in highway projects funded by multi-lateral banks
- He/ She should have experience in handing variation orders, claims ofcontractor and their appropriate disposal.
