At VetSouth
we are after an experienced production animal veterinarian who enjoys getting out on farm and doing the work that matters - from pregnancy scanning and calving through to herd health and building client relationships to being a trusted advisor to progressive farm clients.
Based in Winton, right in the middle of one of New Zealand's most productive dairy regions, you'll work alongside a tight-knit, experienced team who back each other in and out of the clinic.
This role is built differently
- Hands-on production animal work - scanning, calving, farm visits, herd health and seasonal dairy work
- Real client relationships - trusted, practical support for local dairy farmers throughout the season
- Plenty of variety - reproduction, mastitis, lameness, animal health planning and on-farm problem solving

About you
- BVSc (or equivalent) + eligible for NZ registration
- 3+ years' production animal experience
- Is passionate about the dairy industry
- Confident communicating with farmers and working as part of a close team
- Someone who adds to the culture, not just the roster
- Still hungry to learn and grow
