Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a growing data and analytics team focused on transforming trusted data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reporting, analytics, and self-service data solutions using modern Microsoft data technologies. You will help translate business requirements into scalable data products, ensuring data quality, governance, and usability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and reporting requirements.
  • Translate business needs into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
  • Prepare, transform, and model data using Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are followed.
  • Perform testing and validation of data models, reports, and analytics solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
  • Support self-service analytics adoption across the organization.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the evolution of the data platform.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Data Analyst delivering reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Strong experience with Power BI.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern cloud data platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills, including data analysis and query optimization.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with data quality, validation, and governance practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, FinTech, or related industries.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Platform, or Databricks.
  • Experience with AI-enabled analytics, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Data Analytics, Fabric, Azure, or Data Engineering.
  • Experience supporting self-service analytics adoption initiatives

Additional Information

  • Contract Type: B2B Contract.
  • Work Model: Fully Remote.
  • Time Zone: Candidates must be available to work within the Spain time zone (CET/CEST).
  • Contract Duration: The assignment is expected to last approximately 9 months initially, with the possibility of extension depending on project needs and performance.
