This role analyzes business processes and functional requirements to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, and involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their functional/technical requirements, developing/implementing solutions, and ensuring the ERP system is effectively integrated with other IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Prophet21 ERP system to ensure it meets the organization's needs.
• Understands current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Works closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements / technical specifications and translates them into ERP system configurations, customizations and integrations.
• Leads and manages Prophet21 ERP-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develops and implements customizations, enhancements, and integrations with other business applications to meet business requirements.
• Provides ongoing support to Prophet21 ERP system users by troubleshooting issues and resolving system-related problems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working with the Prophet21 ERP system in the manufacturing and/or distribution industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Proven experience in planning and leading P21 ERP implementations, upgrades and enhancements in the manufacturing and/or distribution industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of the Prophet21 ERP system.
• In depth knowledge of P21 ERP architecture and integration methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, database management, programming languages relevant to ERP systems (including APIs and system integrations).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on providing a high level of customer service.
