Senior Full Stack Developer: NetSuite SuiteCommerce & Shopify

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer eager to learn new skills and grow with an established, experienced team. In this role you will deliver implementations, upgrades, and custom eCommerce features in accordance with each client's project requirements, working alongside a team of eight developers, a delivery manager, and solution architects.

Responsibilities and Duties

• eCommerce Development. As a member of our development team, you will execute on development requirements outlined in statements of work and technical design documents. Typical work includes building and customizing SuiteCommerce themes and extensions, developing SuiteScript 2.x customizations (User Event, Suitelet, RESTlet, Map/Reduce, Scheduled scripts), and implementing custom checkout, MyAccount, and order management features. On the Shopify side, building stores, custom Apps and integrations.
• Integrations. Design and build integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems (payment gateways, tax engines, shipping/freight providers, SSO/identity providers, PunchOut/B2B procurement platforms) using REST APIs, RESTlets, GraphQL and webhooks.
• Team Collaboration. Maintaining a high level of communication with clients as well as other team members is critical. Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary. You will participate in code reviews, daily coordination, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Consulting & Client Awareness. This is a consulting role, successful people in it have the ability to understand and recognize client needs, both short-term and long-term, and to propose solutions rather than just implement tickets.
• Project Scoping. You will be involved in estimating projects and contributing to statements of work, technical design documents, solution architecture presentations, and other project documentation.
• Release & Upgrade Work. Participate in SuiteCommerce version upgrades (e.g., migrating clients to the latest release), performance improvement initiatives (Core Web Vitals: FCP/LCP/CLS), and theme modernization projects.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

• 4+ years of experience as a JavaScript Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with: HTML5, JavaScript (ES5/ES6+), Underscore.js, Backbone.js, jQuery, CSS, Sass, Git.
• Understanding of server-side development and REST API design.
• Solid grasp of front-end architecture and a driven attitude towards learning new web technologies.
• Steady and tenacious problem-solving ability, solution-minded, meaning you only say something can't be done after looking at the problem from every angle.
• Strong communication skills internally and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Highly valued:

• NetSuite SuiteCommerce (SCA or SC Standard) development experience.
• SuiteScript 2.x (any script type) or SuiteTalk/REST Web Services.
• Shopify development: Liquid themes, Shopify Apps, GraphQL Admin API, webhooks, metafields/metaobjects.
• Experience with SSO / OAuth 2.0 / SAML identity integrations.
• B2B eCommerce features: order approval workflows, custom pricing, punchout catalogs.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience working in agile consulting environments with tools like ClickUp or Jira.
