Although Mission is part of a broader metropolitan area, it still maintains its distinct and welcoming small-town flavor.

Job Description

The City of Mission is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and service-oriented Senior Human Resources Advisor to take a leadership role within the Human Resources department and support the delivery of strategic and operational HR services across the organization. The preferred candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, investigative techniques and protocols in a unionized setting, human resources systems, collective agreements, employment legislation, and organizational policies and procedures. Advanced Microsoft Office and HRIS skills are required, along with the ability to lead a team of HR professionals, communicate clearly and effectively, manage multiple priorities, and provide excellent service to a wide range of internal and external clients. A CPHR designation, or active affiliation with appropriate human resources networks and organizations, and a valid BC Driver’s Licence are also required.
