Job DutiesÂ
Develop code for JAVA web applications with Responsive front end designÂ
Test and debug applicationsÂ
Develop web services for internal and external consumptionÂ
Other tasks as management assigns.Â
Job SpecificationsÂ
Four year college degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent full-time work experienceÂ
10 years of recent JAVA application software development experience.Â
Expertise developing and debugging using Java, JavaEEÂ
Expertise developing with web presentation technologies such as AJAX, JSON, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5Â
Expertise developing web applications and user interfaces with Java technologies such as JDBC, JSP, JSF, and servletsÂ
Proven history of developing large-scale, high traffic, high performance web-based applicationsÂ
Experience with database application development using Oracle, SQL, JDBC and XMLÂ
Demonstrated application of software development methodologies and modern best practicesÂ
Experience with Test-Driven Development with Junit or equivalent toolÂ
Experience with Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse, and SubversionÂ
Expertise in Java toolkits and frameworks such as JSP, JSF, etc.Â
Expertise with Eclipse or equivalent modern IDEÂ
Expertise in REST, SOAP, Web Services, and Web Services SecurityÂ
Ability to develop and document requirements and specificationsÂ
Experience designing and coding a data-access layer that utilizes JPA and other APIs to interact with Oracle databases and other components in the EAÂ
Demonstrated ability to work with the enterprise and data architects to influence and implement the overall system architectureÂ
Experience developing software in an Agile development environmentÂ
Proficiency in writing testable codeÂ
Experience with code documentation and Javadoc.
