We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support strategic financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and business decision-making. Based in Bangalore, this role will work closely with senior finance leadership and support financial planning across lending portfolios and structured funding activities.

The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic financial services environment with exposure to lending products, funding strategies, securitisation structures, warehouse funding, and capital markets. The successful candidate will combine strong financial modelling expertise with commercial insight and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Develop and maintain detailed financial forecasts and business models across multiple lending products.
• Lead annual budgeting processes and rolling forecasts in line with strategic objectives.
• Prepare financial projections and scenario analyses for senior leadership, investors, and funding partners.
• Evaluate business performance against budgets, forecasts, and strategic targets.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

• Analyse loan book performance, portfolio profitability, and key financial and operational metrics.
• Prepare monthly management reporting, variance analysis, board reporting packs, and financial dashboards.
• Monitor loan originations, redemptions, delinquencies, margins, and portfolio performance.
• Track financial and operational KPIs and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop scenario models and sensitivity analyses to support business planning.

Funding & Structured Finance

• Provide financial modelling and analytical support for warehouse funding facilities, securitisation structures, and SPVs.
• Evaluate funding strategies, financing costs, and their impact on overall profitability.
• Support covenant monitoring, stress testing, and investor or funding-partner reporting.
• Work with treasury and capital markets teams on funding-related analysis and strategic initiatives.

Business Partnering & Strategy

• Act as a finance business partner to credit, risk, treasury, operations, and other business functions.
• Provide financial insights to support new product development and strategic initiatives.
• Assess the financial impact of pricing, credit risk, funding, and operational decisions.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for improving profitability and financial performance.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Qualified accountant with CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, structured finance, lending, financial services, or a related domain.
• Prior experience working within a lending environment, such as mortgage, real estate finance, bridging, or buy-to-let lending.
• Strong understanding of lending products, portfolio performance, credit metrics, and financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with advanced Excel financial modelling, including cash-flow models, loan performance models, funding-cost models, waterfalls, and stress scenarios.
• Exposure to warehouse funding, securitisation transactions, SPVs, and structured funding arrangements.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience working with large datasets.
• Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Commercially focused with the ability to connect financial analysis to business outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
