Job Description:

The Senior Manager Strategic Marketing, WCH partners with platform and priority market leaders to support clarity, consistency, and execution of brand strategy in key growth geographies. The role helps connect global brand strategy with market needs, enabling strong brand presence, coherence, and aligned market execution across MedTech Surgery platform portfolios.

This role focuses on supporting market needs and brand stewardship—helping markets execute strategic priorities while respecting and communicating local context and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Stewardship & Alignment

  • Support global brand strategy by helping ensure clarity, consistency, and appropriate application across markets
  • Assist in translating global brand direction into regionally relevant approaches across G5 and KSA markets.
  • Gather and share market insights with brand leaders to inform product development and brand strategy initiatives

Regional & Market Partnership

  • Serve as a key point of coordination between global brand teams and priority market leaders
  • Support priority markets in adapting global strategies to local needs, regulations, and market dynamics

Marketing Enablement & Capabilities

  • Enable markets with approved modular content, guidance, and tools to support brand presence and engagement
  • Help maintain consistency in digital presence, congress participation, and brand expression across regions
  • Partner with priority market teams to strengthen marketing capabilities and ways of working

Planning, Coordination & Governance

  • Support market and global planning processes (e.g., LRFP, LRPP, IBP, financial business planning) through coordination and alignment
  • Help provide visibility to regional priorities, tradeoffs, and dependencies
  • Support governance and standards related to brand use, messaging, and market adaptation

Insights, Learning & Best Practices

  • Support sharing of insights and learnings across key markets and platforms
  • Help identify and disseminate best practices to strengthen brand impact globally

Key Stakeholders

  • Global Strategic Marketing (brand teams) & Platform Leadership
  • Regional marketing, commercial, cross-functional, and business leaders across EMEA

Success Measures

  • Clarity and consistency of brand strategy across markets
  • Strength of regional partnership and satisfaction with global support
  • Improved alignment between global brand intent and regional market needs
  • Adoption of common standards, tools, and ways of working across markets

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related discipline; advanced degree a plus.

- 7+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or related commercial roles.

- Proven success in regional, country-level, or downstream marketing roles.

- Demonstrated ability to execute within cross-functional, matrixed environments.

- Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.

- Experience working with hospital systems, clinical stakeholders, or medical technology.

- Strong working knowledge of market analytics, brand execution, pricing, and customer insights.

Preferred Experience

- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic, regional, or downstream marketing within medical devices or healthcare.

- 2+ years of people leadership or demonstrated experience leading projects, agencies, or cross-functional teams.

- Experience launching and growing surgical products within local markets.

- Strong experience adapting global strategies to regional execution.

- Experience with the Wound Closure and Healing portfolio is a strong plus.
