Key Health is growing, and we're looking for experienced Senior Medical Receptionists to join our expanding network of medical centres across Sydney.

This is more than a reception role. You'll be a trusted leader within the clinic, working alongside the Practice Manager to keep operations running smoothly, support your team, and deliver an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through the door.

What you'll be doing

You'll be the go-to person for the reception team, helping to create a positive, organised, and efficient clinic environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring the reception team to deliver outstanding patient service
• Supporting the Practice Manager with the day-to-day running of the clinic
• Coordinating daily reception operations and stepping in when the Practice Manager is away
• Assisting with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of reception and nursing staff
• Supporting doctors, registrars, and allied health professionals to ensure clinics run efficiently
• Managing patient enquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and care
  Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance systems and workflows
• Monitoring clinic performance and supporting operational goals
• Maintaining compliance with privacy, risk management, and practice policies
• Assisting with administrative tasks including reporting, banking reconciliation, and roster coordination

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who leads by example, enjoys supporting others, and thrives in a busy healthcare environment.

You'll have:

• At least 12 months' experience as a Medical Receptionist in a GP practice
• Previous experience in a senior, team lead, or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of Best Practice, HotDoc, or similar practice management systems
• A solid understanding of Medicare, billing, and the Australian healthcare system
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a calm, professional approach
• A positive attitude, strong initiative, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care
