About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised, detail focused and people centred Senior People Services Coordinator / Advisor to join our team.

This role provides end to end support across the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on preparing employment documentation, onboarding, maintaining employee records, workforce reporting and delivering exceptional People Services support to managers and kaimahi.

Working alongside our Recruitment Administrator, you will assist with recruitment coordination while ensuring the systems, processes and documentation that sit behind our workforce are accurate, compliant and delivered to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the operational side of HR and wants to continue developing their people advisory capability.

What You will Be Doing

  • Draft employment agreements, contract variations, letters and other employment documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities including advertising, candidate communication and interview coordination.
  • Coordinate onboarding, pre-employment screening, police vetting and induction processes.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems, including BambooHR.
  • Manage the People Services inbox and provide support to managers and kaimahi.
  • Produce workforce, recruitment and compliance reporting.
  • Support purchase orders, invoicing and People Services administration.
  • Contribute to workforce projects, process improvements and organisational initiatives.

About You
You are someone who takes pride in producing accurate work, enjoys building strong relationships and understands that great employee experiences start with great people processes.

You Will Bring:

  • Experience in HR administration, people coordination or a similar role.
  • Experience preparing employment agreements, contracts and employment documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive approach and desire to continuously improve processes.
  • An appreciation of kaupapa Māori and commitment to whānau centred outcomes.
