About this role

As a Senior Product Owner, Wealth Management, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and driving product capabilities that support the Wealth Management business and enable a more intuitive, efficient, and valuable experience. This role serves as a critical connection point between business strategy, field/advisor needs, operational processes, technology delivery, data capabilities, and third-party platform partners.

This role requires strong product ownership discipline, deep collaboration skills, and the ability to balance competing stakeholder needs while helping drive alignment, priorities, decisions, and execution.

You will

  • Translate product vision and business strategy into a prioritized backlog, clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities aligned to business, customer, and enterprise goals.

  • Partner with Product Managers, Technology Leads, business stakeholders, operations, data, compliance, and third-party providers to deliver Wealth Management capabilities that create business value and improve user experience.

  • Build deep understanding of Wealth Management workflows, products, services, processes, data needs, advisor experience gaps, operational challenges, and technology dependencies to shape product decisions and improvement opportunities.

  • Define, prioritize, sequence, and refine enhancements, integrations, process improvements and actionable backlog items with the Product Manager and Technology Lead.

  • Collaborate with technology, vendor, data, analytics, and AI partners to support reporting needs, governance expectations, and data/AI standards into product solutions.

  • Use process analysis, root cause analysis, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities across advisor, client, operations, and business user experiences.

  • Support release readiness, communications, training needs, adoption planning, feedback loops, OKR tracking, milestone reporting, and stakeholder updates to maintain delivery momentum and business alignment.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in product management, product ownership, business transformation, technology delivery, or a related field.

  • Experience working in or supporting the wealth management industry

  • Familiarity with wealth management platforms, financial planning platforms, portfolio management tools, or other wealth management technology solutions.  

  • Knowledge of wealth management products, advisor/client workflows, operations, and business processes,

  • Proven experience translating business needs, customer research, stakeholder feedback, and strategic priorities into roadmaps, requirements, user stories, and delivery plans.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders while helping drive toward clear priorities, informed decisions, and timely execution.

  • Strong product ownership skills, including backlog management, prioritization, acceptance criteria development, dependency management, and release readiness.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to both business and technical audiences.

Preferred Experience

  • Understanding of RIAs or broker-dealer operations, and investment products.

  • Understanding of the advisor experience, including how advisors engage with clients, manage relationships, complete business processes, access data, and use technology to support growth and service.

Salary Range:

$99,150.00 - $162,885.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
