Description of the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer - Hybris Pricing to join our team. In this role, your primary focus will be the end-to-end automation of Hybris pricing logic across the API, UI, and Data Layers. You will be responsible for authoring automation stories tied directly to pricing Jira tickets, maintaining pricing regression as part of pipeline execution, optimizing pricing script execution for speed and reliability, and providing clear failure diagnostics with actionable output.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Design and execute end-to-end automation strategies for Hybris pricing logic across API, UI, and Data Layers.

• Author automation stories and test cases mapped directly to pricing Jira tickets.

• Maintain and expand the pricing regression test suite as part of continuous integration pipeline execution.

• Optimize the execution of pricing scripts to improve speed, efficiency, and reliability.

• Provide clear, detailed, and actionable failure diagnostics and reporting upon test execution failures.

• Collaborate with teams using strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills to ensure thorough test coverage.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior QAAutomation Engineer with a deep functional understanding of the SAP Commerce (Hybris) pricing engine, including price rows, price groups, net/gross pricing, catalogue-aware pricing configuration, and promotion rules.

• Strong technical proficiency in Java as the core automation language for API and framework development.

• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript for UI automation where applicable, and Python for data validation and utilities.

• Solid expertise in API Automation using tools such as Postman, Pytest (Python), or WebClient (Java).

• Hands-on experience with UI Automation frameworks like Playwright or Selenium.

• Experience working with CI/CD platforms, specifically Jenkins, for pipeline test integration.

• Familiarity with advanced reporting tools such as Extent or Allure style reporting.

• Solid functional knowledge of SAP Hybris and PCM (Product Content Management).

Nice to Have

• Experience automating complex cart recalculation scenarios within e-commerce ecosystems.
