Context
This role will be supporting the Risk team on various projects
Missions/Main Duties
- Assist with the implementation and management of risk management services per the mission and goals of projects and programs from inception through to completionÂ
- Ensure that work is fully supported from a consulting standpoint in an integrated, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective mannerÂ
- Finalize the budget and operating or delivery plan for the risk management services in consultation with the project or program team and clientÂ
- Provide the final review and approval of the completed material planning to successfully deliver risk management servicesÂ
- Review changes and interventions to ensure risk management service goals are achieved on the project or programÂ
- Facilitate various project focus or function meetings with a spotlight on service initiativesÂ
- Set and interpret service expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team membersÂ
- Build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture with an openness to constructive challenge, continuous improvement, implementation of lessons learned, and an overall âright-first-timeâ mindsetÂ
- Reinforce acceptable standards of workmanship through every stage of the projectÂ
- Supervise and guide clear and focused staff performance objectives (including noncompany resources) to ensure excellence in resultsÂ
- Promote a project environment that is inclusive, and diverse and celebrates our differencesâŻÂ
- Clarify internal quality control check and resolve quality issues for the projectâŻÂ
- Prepare procedures and work instructions and ensure that all program team membersâŻÂ
- Comply with the risk management plan, procedures, and requirements of the assigned scope of workâŻÂ
- Develop risk breakdown structure aligned with project WBS and CBSâŻÂ
- Prepare risk training materials and train the project team on the principles of riskÂ
- Evaluate risk registers at the project and program level, ensuring quality standards are metâŻÂ
- Perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis using Risk Management software (e.g. Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Risk, etc.) and provide the interpretation of results (e.g. Distribution S Curve Graph, Sensitivity Analysis Tornado Chart and Deep Dive Schedule Logic)Â
- Follow up with risk owners to ensure the mitigation actions are on track, including escalation where requiredÂ
- Review contractor progress reports and identify the risks impacting project cost and schedule and reflect them in the risk registerÂ
- Work closely with scheduling to prepare a high-level schedule (or assess detailed schedules) to be used for quantitative schedule risk analysis and define the link between risks, duration uncertainties, and schedule activitiesÂ
- Liaise with cost to monitor project contingency utilization and alignment with cost risk exposuresÂ
Profile/Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Risk ManagementÂ
- Bachelorâs degree in a relevant fieldÂ
- Holding recognized certifications including Risk Management Professional (RMP) and Project Management Professional (PMP)Â or eligibleÂ
- Experience of effective risk leadership on complex construction projects.Â
- Comprehensive knowledge of risk tools, techniques, and softwareÂ
