Job Description

As a Senior Software Developer, you will shape the future of our internal development processes, building high-profile, full-stack systems that empower our global engineering teams.

The Platform team delivers solutions designed to streamline and enhance internal development processes through automation, tooling, and visibility. It focuses on exciting greenfield projects, building high-profile, impactful, and full-stack systems adopted across the wider business.

The role involves leading technical design and delivery, taking ownership of complex solutions from inception to deployment. It requires a deep understanding of Golang and frontend technologies like React, TypeScript, or JavaScript frameworks, alongside experience with Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform. This position offers autonomy, leadership opportunities, and growth within a collaborative and technically strong environment.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the company’s hybrid work from home policy.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial experience delivering production-grade Golang applications.
• Proven leadership of technical projects from concept to deployment.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear designs.
• Experience mentoring and guiding mid-level and Junior Developers.
• Track record of improving team processes, tooling, and development standards.
• Demonstrable capability delivering robust, scalable software solutions.
• Comfortable working with web-based tooling, integrations, and full-stack development.
• Experience translating solution documentation into actionable development tasks.

Additional Information

• Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable Golang applications and services.
• Own complex greenfield software projects from initial concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads, Architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to mid-level and Junior Developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with clear, actionable recommendations.
• Set, communicate, and uphold Quality Assurance and coding standards across the team.
• Facilitate technical discussions, planning sessions, and code reviews to promote knowledge sharing.
• Ensure seamless integration of developed software into business systems through comprehensive testing and documentation.
