About the opportunity

In dieser Rolle gestaltest Du aktiv die Weiterentwicklung und den stabilen Betrieb komplexer biotechnologischer Produktionsprozesse bei QIAGEN. Als Senior Specialist Bioprocess Development - Operations übernimmst Du fachliche Verantwortung für Produkte und Prozesse im GMP-regulierten Umfeld und wirkst als Schnittstelle zwischen Produktion, Qualität und Entwicklung. Du treibst Verbesserungen entlang des gesamten Prozesslebenszyklus voran – von der technischen Betreuung bestehender Prozesse bis hin zu Technologietransfers, Scale-up-Aktivitäten und nachhaltigen Optimierungen in Qualität, Robustheit und Kosten.

Your tasks include

  • Fachliche Betreuung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung von biotechnologischen Produktionsprozessen (z. B. Enzyme, Antikörper)
  • Technische Betreuung von Prozessen während des Transfers in die Produktion
  • Erstellung, Pflege und Review GMP-relevanter Dokumente wie Herstellvorschriften, SOPs und Technical Reports
  • Fachlichen Leitung bei Abweichungsanalysen (inkl. Root-Cause-Analysen), Definition von CAPA-Maßnahmen und Umsetzung von Change-Control-Prozessen
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Produktion, Qualitätskontrolle, Qualitätssicherung, Engineering und R&D
  • Aktive Mitarbeit oder Leitung bereichsübergreifender Projekte, z. B. zur Prozessoptimierung, Modernisierung oder Digitalisierung

Your profile

  • Abgeschlossenes naturwissenschaftliches oder technisches Studium (z. B. Biotechnologie, Bioverfahrenstechnik, Chemieingenieurwesen oder vergleichbar), idealerweise mit Master oder Promotion
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung, bevorzugt in einem GMP-regulierten Produktions- oder Entwicklungsumfeld
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in biotechnologischen Herstellungsprozessen und Prozessoptimierung
  • Strukturierte, analytische und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise mit hohem Qualitätsbewusstsein
  • Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke und sicheres Auftreten in interdisziplinären Teams
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift Senior
