In a global management consultancy like Roland Berger, the Finance & Controlling (F&C) function offers exciting challenges. We are currently ramping up our F&C holding team in Kuala Lumpur to support our global operations with unique capabilities.

As a (Senior) Specialist Treasury (FX Focus), you will be proactively contributing to the operational and strategic management of foreign currency risks as well as to other tasks such as the management of cash and liquidity. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in an exciting international environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in treasury applications and processes, excellent analytical skills, and a results-driven approach.

Job Description

• Operational and strategic management of foreign currency risks
• Analysis of global currency positions and preparation of exposure reports, further development of FX exposure reports
• Development, implementation, and monitoring of FX hedging strategies
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders, and international subsidiaries 
• Management of cash and liquidity in an international environment 
• Contribution to the development of treasury strategy and treasury policies 
• Optimization and digitization of treasury processes and treasury management systems
• Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in the treasury area 
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Contribute actively to inter-disciplinary projects for our global F&C function

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Corporate Treasury (ideally in the professional services industry) or Treasury Advisory
• Solid experience in Foreign Exchange (FX) management and currency risk management 
• Knowledge of hedging instruments and treasury products 
• Experience in cash management and liquidity planning 
• Experience with treasury management systems
• Proficient in Excel and ideally knowledgeable in Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Strong communication and teamworking skills
• Fluency in business English
