Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience: 7.5+ years in Software UI/Frontend Engineering, preferably in Enterprise or Product companies.
• Hands-on experience developing React Native mobile applications using the Expo Framework.
• Strong hands-on experience in React Native and JavaScript ES6+.
• Strong understanding of React principles, React Hooks, Context API, and component lifecycles.
• Strong experience with state management libraries such as Redux/Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or MobX.
• Hands-on experience with Expo SDKs, Expo Router, and EAS workflows.
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android application development, deployment lifecycles, application signing, and App Store/Google Play Store guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub, including continuous integration pipelines.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Good understanding of mobile application caching strategies and performance optimization.
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization of production-ready mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of Accessibility AA/WCAG standards and experience building accessible applications.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale, reusable UI systems and working with component libraries.
• Experience with mobile application testing frameworks such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Maestro, or Appium.
• Understanding of JavaScript Bridge/JSI and React Native architecture.
• Experience with Agentic AI, AI agents, specifications, and AI-assisted development, documentation, and testing.
• Knowledge of Flexbox and CSS Grid-based systems.
• Experience with packaging/build tools such as Babel or Webpack.
• Knowledge of Figma and ability to translate UI/UX designs into mobile experiences.
• Understanding of Deep Linking and SEO concepts.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum/Kanban, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and leadership skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain high-performance cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
• Build scalable iOS and Android applications from a single codebase while following enterprise UI and design standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
• Leverage Agentic AI, specifications, skills, and AI agents to accelerate development, documentation, and testing activities.
• Design and implement clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable React Native components.
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and third-party libraries into mobile applications.
• Implement effective state management using Redux/Redux Toolkit or other suitable state management solutions.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, accessibility, and security.
• Perform performance profiling and troubleshoot production application issues.
• Implement caching strategies to improve application performance and user experience.
• Develop accessible applications aligned with Accessibility AA/WCAG standards.
• Manage mobile application build, signing, deployment, and release processes for iOS and Android.
• Work with Expo Router, EAS workflows, and modern Expo tooling.
• Write and maintain automated tests using Jest, React Native Testing Library, Maestro, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and troubleshoot end-to-end application issues.
• Translate Figma designs and product requirements into high-quality mobile UI experiences.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions.
• Work with JIRA and Confluence to manage requirements, EPICs, Stories, Tasks, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Take ownership of technical deliverables, lead initiatives, resolve complex problems, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
