Job Description

Requirements

  • More than 8 years of overall software development experience with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Mendix application development.
  • Strong expertise in Mendix Studio, Mendix Studio Pro, and Mendix Runtime.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
  • Experience developing custom Mendix widgets, modules, and reusable components.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, coding standards, design principles, and Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with database design, data modeling, and data management concepts.
  • Experience integrating Mendix applications with external systems using APIs, web services, and other integration mechanisms.
  • Experience working on large-scale applications with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
  • Knowledge of implementing batch retrieval mechanisms and handling large data volumes efficiently.
  • Experience improving application performance, data loading processes, and reporting functionalities.
  • Exposure to Snowflake and data validation processes is preferred.
  • Experience implementing automated testing frameworks and quality assurance practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain business-critical applications using the Mendix low-code development platform.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.
  • Participate in project planning, effort estimation, technical design discussions, and delivery activities.
  • Develop custom widgets, modules, and integrations to extend Mendix platform capabilities.
  • Integrate Mendix applications with external systems, databases, and enterprise platforms.
  • Implement and optimize batch retrieval processes to support large-scale data processing requirements.
  • Enhance application performance by optimizing data retrieval, document processing, and user interface components.
  • Improve data load efficiency through implementation of advanced data processing and optimization techniques.
  • Optimize Excel export functionality and other data-intensive operations for better performance and user experience.
  • Implement automated testing solutions to validate data consistency between Mendix applications and Snowflake datasets.
  • Conduct code reviews, peer reviews, and quality checks to ensure adherence to development standards.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues while ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Stay updated with emerging Mendix features, low-code technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and technical recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines and budget expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
