We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Senior Video Editor to join our growing content and marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand identity and communication goals. You will collaborate closely with creative teams, marketers, designers, and content strategists to produce compelling visual stories for digital platforms, advertising campaigns, social media, corporate communications, and product launches.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in video editing, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional quality and meeting deadlines. Experience with video production and videography will be an added advantage, allowing you to contribute throughout the content creation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for digital marketing campaigns, social media, websites, YouTube, advertisements, and internal communications.
• Transform raw footage into polished, engaging content by incorporating transitions, motion graphics, animations, visual effects, music, sound design, and color correction.
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, marketers, and content creators to understand project objectives and deliver impactful visual content.
• Maintain consistency in branding, style, tone, and messaging across all video assets.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring appropriate formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
• Review footage, identify the best shots, and assemble compelling narratives that enhance viewer engagement.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high production standards.
• Organize and maintain media assets, project files, and editing workflows for efficient collaboration.
• Stay updated with emerging editing techniques, industry trends, and new creative tools to continuously improve content quality.
• Provide creative input during concept development and post-production discussions.

Required Skills

Must-have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Video Editing using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.
• Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, composition, and visual aesthetics.
• Proficiency in color grading, audio synchronization, sound mixing, and basic motion graphics.
• Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, compression techniques, and export settings for various digital platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
• Creative mindset with the ability to translate concepts into visually engaging content.

Good-to-have Skills

• Experience in Video Production, including planning, scripting support, and production coordination.
• Hands-on experience in Videography, including camera operations, framing, lighting, and capturing high-quality footage.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other creative design tools.
• Knowledge of animation, motion graphics, drone videography, or cinematic filming techniques.
• Understanding of social media content trends and platform-specific video optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of professional experience in video editing or post-production.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling and diverse editing projects across digital platforms.
