Role Overview
The SEO Technical Developer will be responsible for implementing and resolving technical
issues across clients’ websites to improve overall SEO and AI Search performance. This
role is hands-on and execution-focused, working across multiple CMS platforms
including WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Strapi, custom-built
CMS, and headless architectures while collaborating directly with clients’ tech teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement technical SEO fixes including canonical tags, pagination, redirects, server-side rendering, and indexation issues.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and overall site performance.
- Manage robots.txt, sitemap updates, nofollow/noindex directives, and security configurations.
- Set up and maintain tracking via Google Tag Manager (GTM) across client properties.
- Create new pages, implement new page sections, and hardcode elements when required.
- Work across multiple CMS platforms including WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Strapi, custom-built CMS, and headless architectures — with strong WordPress proficiency as the primary platform.
- Provide technical recommendations and collaborate with clients’ development teams.
- Manage tasks on a timely basis, ensuring clean execution and clear communication.
- Implement and maintain schema markup and structured data to enhance visibility across both traditional search and AI search platforms.
- Support site migrations, domain changes, CMS migrations, and new site launches — ensuring SEO equity is preserved and technical requirements are met throughout the transition.

Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in technical SEO implementation or web development with SEO focus.
- Strong WordPress expertise (theme customization, plugin management, server configuration) with working knowledge of other CMS platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Strapi, and headless CMS architectures.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, and crawl management.
- Experience with server-side rendering, CDN configuration, and site security.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with schema markup (JSON-LD) and structured data implementation for search visibility.
- Familiarity with site migration processes, including domain moves, CMS transitions, and URL restructuring.
