Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Execution & Technical Supervision of Construction Works
  • Project Planning, Progress Monitoring & Schedule Follow-Up
  • Quality Control, Inspections & Corrective Works Follow-Up
  • Site Coordination with Foremen, Subcontractors & Suppliers
  • Materials, Resources & Subcontractor Quantity Verification
  • HSE Compliance, Site Safety & Incident Follow-Up
  • Site Reporting, Documentation & Risk Escalation

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare clear and accurate daily and weekly site updates for the Project Manager.
  • Maintain records of site progress, technical issues, instructions, inspections and significant events.
  • Provide photographic documentation of works and important site developments.
  • Contribute technical information required for project reports and management updates.
  • Immediately escalate significant delays, quality issues, safety concerns, technical conflicts or other risks to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 7-10 years of relevant construction/site engineering experience, preferably on residential, commercial or mixed-use building projects exceeding 10 floors.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and construction drawings.
  • Practical understanding of construction methods, sequencing, materials and quality control.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, foremen and site workers.
  • Good understanding of project schedules and progress monitoring.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Good reporting, documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on site while operating within the authority and direction of the Project Manager.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with project planning or construction management software is an advantage.
  • French proficiency required. English is an advantage.
