We care deeply about every detail—from beauty and durability to efficiency and accessibility—because we believe everyone deserves a thoughtfully made home.   The Opportunity Vessel is growing rapidly, with scores of projects in planning, and we’re looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to join the team. You will join a small team responsible for the software systems that power Vessel's buildings. This is a hands-on, generalist role with meaningful exposure across applications, backend systems, connected devices, and cloud infrastructure. You will not be limited to a single layer of the stack. In one week, you may troubleshoot a device issue in the field, build a new product feature, and deploy a backend service. This role includes travel to job sites for testing and debugging building systems, plus occasional trips to our headquarters in New York City. Travel is expected to be about one week per month or less.
