DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Specialist Market Access Operations, located in Shanghai.
The role is responsible for endâtoâend operational support and execution of DPS Chinaâs tendering and VBP activities, as well as broader market access operational processes and data management.Â
This role serves as the national MA operations backbone, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and continuity of all tenderâ and accessârelated operational work, while enabling GAMA leadership, Market Access, and BU teams to focus on strategy and external engagement.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
1. Tendering & Centralized Procurement Operations (Core Responsibility)Â
Work closely with Tender / Bidding Managers, Market Access and BU teams to provide endâtoâend operational support for: Â
National and provincial tenderingÂ
Centralized volumeâbased procurement (VBP) projectsÂ
Collect, prepare, and manage:Â Â
Company qualifications and certificatesÂ
Product registrations and technical documentationÂ
Pricing information (company and competitor)Â
Prepare tender submission materials in accordance with project requirementsÂ
Support online price submission and tender system operationsÂ
2. Documentation, Data & System ManagementÂ
Manage centralized collection, standardization, and archiving of:Â Â
Tender documentsÂ
Procurement resultsÂ
Pricing and winning bid informationÂ
Execute accurate and timely internal and external system data entry, including: Â
Tender / bidding platformsÂ
Internal MA or commercial systemsÂ
Maintain productâsystem linkages (e.g. tender platforms, product master data)Â
Update product information in line with RA certificate changes or new registrationsÂ
3. Market Access Data Collection & Analysis SupportÂ
Systematically collect published tender, procurement, and pricing information, including competitor dataÂ
Support basic projectâlevel analysis and summaries, including Tender outcomes, Pricing landscape and Access trendsÂ
Provide reliable operational data inputs to: GAMA Head, Market Access Managers, BU and commercial stakeholdersÂ
4. CrossâFunctional Coordination & Execution SupportÂ
Act as a key operational interface between GAMA, BU, RA, Finance, and other support functionsÂ
Ensure alignment and completeness of MA operational inputs across departmentsÂ
Support smooth execution of MA projects by ensuring readiness of all required materials and dataÂ
5. MA Operations Standardization & Continuous ImprovementÂ
Support the Head of GAMA in:Â Â
Improving MA operational workflowsÂ
Enhancing documentation standards and data qualityÂ
Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies in tender and MA operationsÂ
Propose practical improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability of MA operationsÂ

QualificationsÂ
EducationÂ
Bachelorâs degree or aboveÂ
Business, Management, Life Sciences, or related fields preferredÂ
ExperienceÂ
3â5+ years of relevant experience in:Â Â
Tendering / bidding operationsÂ
Centralized procurement (VBP) operationsÂ
Market access or commercial operationsÂ
Experience in multinational medical device or pharmaceutical companies strongly preferredÂ
Handsâon experience with medical consumables tendering processes requiredÂ

Solid understanding of China tendering and procurement operationsÂ
