Role Summary

The Sr. Analyst Samples Governance will own and operationalize end-to-end governance of ADI’s global sampling program, enabling a scalable, digitally controlled demand-generation engine. This role will establish the operating model, policy controls, process standards, and analytics needed to support prototyping, customer engagement, and commercial growth while improving consistency, efficiency, and program visibility.

Key Areas of Responsibility

End-to-End Samples Governance

  • Ensure KPIs of 98% in stock is being met
  • Establish and enforce the global governance framework for FOC samples.
  • Ensure consistent policy execution across samples.analog.com and S/4/manual processes.
  • Own sample eligibility logic, including CAN flag governance
  • Drive prototyping-only enforcement and prevent misuse of the samples program.

Process Standardization

  • Transition samples to the default entry point for sample requests.
  • Reduce manual, S/4, and inbox-driven workflows.
  • Standardize process ownership, escalation paths, and operating cadence across stakeholders.
  • Define and implement an exception-handling framework.

Asset Management

  • Responsible for the current manual inventory fill process
  • Ensure proper inventory to hit 98% in stock target
  • Optimize consignment inventory availability and replenishment visibility.
  • Drive predictive replenishment models to improve sample availability.

Operational Execution & Adoption

  • Own the daily governance model, issue resolution, and escalation process.
  • Provide oversight into the CV Samples Team’s tactical execution model, including sample booking, internal order creation, sample inquiries, Sample Center approvals, compliance holds, delivery issue resolution, RMA creation, expedite requests, incompletion log resolution, and sample ship-to account setup.
  • Establish clear operating rhythms with the execution team to review workload trends, issue themes, capacity constraints, transition readiness, and service-level performance across regional and functional sample activities.
  • Reduce inbox volume, manual touches, and recurring escalations.
  • Ensure clear communication, documentation, and process discipline across the global sampling program.

Automation & Integration

  • Reduce manual intervention through workflow automation and system controls
  • Define business requirements for sample eligibility and approval logic.
  • Integrate sample activity with lead and opportunity systems.

Analytics & ROI

  • Build visibility into sample usage, inventory availability and re-order backlog.
  • Define KPIs, reporting standards, and governance dashboards.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for Channel, Sales, and leadership teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-3+ years of experience in channel operations, program management, business operations, or related roles.
  • Strong process governance experience, including policy execution, controls, and exception management.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to define KPIs, interpret trends, and recommend actions.
  • Experience with SAP/S/4
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Channel Operations, Finance, and external partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear process documentation and executive-ready updates.
  • Demonstrated ability to reduce manual work, improve scalability, and drive adoption of new operating models.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $86,400 to $118,800.
