Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What You’ll Do

  • Help build aircraft subsystems integration test labs
  • Read wiring diagrams and schematics, and have the ability to understand common electrical symbols and components
  • Repair and replace aircraft subsystem components in a lab environment
  • Maintain lab documentation for lab modifications, repairs and upgrades
  • Inspect the work of other technicians to ensure quality and conformity with design specifications
  • Troubleshoot integration encountered
  • Fabricate and ring-out wiring harnesses for Aerospace Industry Standards.

What You Need

  • 5 years of experience as an electrical technician in Aviation, Aerospace or similar industry
  • Superior technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft subsystems operation and troubleshooting
  • Hands on experience cutting, splicing and crimping wires to fabricate a wide variety of harnesses types
  • Extreme attention to detail and high expectations for quality technical work
  • Ability to replace various subsystems components
  • A safety conscious mindset for ensuring the wellbeing of all working in the labs
  • Set an example for a high standard of technical work for other team members

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining / modifying certified aircraft. 
  • A&P License
  • Inspection Authorization (IA)
  • Experience with FAA type certification and conformal test setups
  • Familiarity with high voltage systems
