Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Paid Media will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of Samsung Appliance’s full paid media portfolio, driving brand awareness, consideration, and direct-to-consumer revenue across Samsung.com. This role leads a comprehensive, full-funnel paid media approach spanning upper, mid, and lower-funnel channels, including Paid Search, Programmatic Display, CTV/OTT, Paid Social, Retail Media, Affiliate and Content. The Senior Manager will serve as a strategic leader bridging Ecommerce and Brand Marketing, with direct ownership of channel investment decisions, agency relationships, and measurable business outcomes across the appliances and consumer electronics categories.
- Develop and own the full-funnel paid media strategy across all channels, aligning investment decisions to business objectives, audience priorities, and seasonal go-to-market plans
- Lead annual and quarterly channel planning, budget allocation, and forecasting across Paid Search, Programmatic, CTV/OTT, Paid Social, Retail Media, Affiliate, and Emerging channels
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on paid media trends, platform innovations, and competitive landscape, presenting actionable recommendations to senior leadership
- Partner with Brand, Ecommerce, Creative, and Product teams to ensure paid media strategies are fully integrated into broader marketing initiatives
- Drive a test-and-learn culture across all channels, establishing clear measurement frameworks and communicating results to cross-functional and executive stakeholders
- Manage significant media budgets with accountability for channel-level ROAS, CPA, CPM, and revenue targets
- Partner with engineering and data teams to maintain and optimize product feeds, tagging infrastructure, and measurement architecture
- Manage and optimize landing page performance in collaboration with Digital Product, UX, and Creative teams
- Define KPIs and reporting frameworks across all paid channels, ensuring consistent, accurate performance visibility
- Analyze cross-channel data to identify trends, surface insights, and recommend optimizations
- Develop and deliver regular performance recaps, forecasts, and GTM readouts for cross-functional and executive audiences
- Drive attribution modeling and incrementality testing to inform investment decisions
- Visionary yet execution-oriented leader who can operate at both the strategic and tactical level
- Deep expertise across the full paid media landscape with a strong command of both brand and performance marketing principles
- Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives
- Strong communicator and collaborator who can influence at all levels of a matrixed organization
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for testing, learning, and driving innovation
Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or growth marketing, with experience spanning both agency and brand-side environments preferred
- Proven track record managing and scaling full-funnel paid media programs across multiple channels simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience managing significant media budgets ($10M+) with ownership of revenue and ROAS outcomes
- Solid experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DV360 or The Trade Desk, Amazon Ads, and major affiliate platforms
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Looker, or equivalent)
- Experience with product feed management, tracking/tagging implementation, and attribution solutions
- Professional experience with Excel skills including advanced functions; experience with SQL or other data tools a plus
- Experience managing agency partners and cross-functional teams
