Sr. Splunk Expert

Müller’s Solutions is seeking a Senior Splunk Expert to lead the design, implementation, and management of Splunk solutions across our enterprise. In this role, you will be responsible for creating advanced data ingestion, search, and dashboard strategies to deliver actionable insights from complex datasets. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance our monitoring capabilities, improve security posture, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Splunk infrastructure including indexers, search heads, and forwarders.
• Create and optimize Splunk queries, dashboards, and reports to support business and operational needs.
• Integrate data sources and ensure data quality and consistency within Splunk.
• Implement and manage Splunk apps and add-ons to extend functionality.
• Monitor Splunk environment health and perform troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement Splunk for security information and event management (SIEM).
• Develop automation scripts to streamline Splunk administration and data ingestion processes.
• Provide training and support to end-users and other team members.
• Stay current with Splunk updates, features, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with Splunk in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture and components.
• Proficiency in advanced Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and dashboard creation.
• Experience integrating various data sources and managing large data volumes.
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security and IT Service Intelligence is a plus.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
