Sr Visual Designer ( LY-CR07)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead visual direction across internal branding, marketing campaigns, culture initiatives, recruitment, events, and brand communications.
• Translate briefs, business objectives, and abstract ideas into strong visual concepts and compelling narratives.
• Create high-quality visual assets for social media, websites, presentations, campaigns, events, emailers, and internal communications.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual language across different formats and touchpoints.
• Explore emerging visual trends, styles, formats, and technologies to continuously evolve the brand.
• Present and articulate creative concepts clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.

• Demonstrate advanced hands-on expertise in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variables, Grids, Effects, Boolean Operations, responsive layouts, and design systems.
• Use Figma to create scalable, structured, and production-ready visual systems and templates.
• Leverage Figma Buzz to build scalable templates for emailers and other repeatable marketing and communication formats.
• Stay current with Figma’s latest features, plugins, and capabilities and identify opportunities to improve creative workflows and efficiency.

• Use AI-powered image-generation and creative tools as an integral part of the visual design process.
• Experiment with AI to develop concepts, generate imagery, explore visual directions, and accelerate creative production.
• Build structured and repeatable AI workflows that can scale across projects and teams.
• Work with node-based AI workflows and creative platforms such as Figma Weave, Higgsfield, Magnific Spaces, or similar emerging tools.
• Explore AI MCPs and app integrations to connect creative tools and automate parts of the design workflow.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and identify practical applications that improve creative quality, speed, and scalability.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Use Photoshop for image compositing, manipulation, retouching, cleanup, and AI-assisted image creation.
• Use Illustrator to create and refine vector-based visual assets and illustrations.
• Basic knowledge of After Effects is a bonus, particularly for working with styleframes and motion workflows.

What are we looking for

• 7+ years of professional experience in Visual Design, Brand Design, or a related creative discipline.
• Advanced hands-on expertise in Figma.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, visual hierarchy, colour, imagery, layout, and branding.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered image generation and creative tools.
• Ability to integrate AI meaningfully into professional creative workflows rather than using it only for experimentation.
• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to turn abstract ideas into compelling visual solutions.
• Strong understanding of brand consistency and visual storytelling across multiple formats.
• Ability to learn, experiment with, and adopt emerging creative technologies quickly.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience mentoring designers or leading creative initiatives is an advantage.
• A design-related degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• A strong portfolio showcasing visual design, creative direction, branding, visual storytelling, and experimentation with AI/ emerging technologies.
