STL Bottle Packer

Job Summary

Loading untreated products into processing containers for treatment then re-packaging the product once treated following all quality and safety protocols.

Essential Job Functions

• Load untreated products into baskets for treatment

• Repack treated materials into appropriate containers per plant procedures and customer requirements. Ensure proper stacking pattern, quantity and labeling.

• Palletize ware and prepare for shipping

• Report all nonconformance issues to lead bottle packer, shifter operator or site management immediately

• Use a tape gun and banding to re-package product

• Assist in loading/unloading of trucks if needed

• Must be willing to work shift and/or overtime hours during the week and/or weekends as dictated by operations

• Assist with housekeeping protocols and organization of the plant

• Clean baskets and other equipment as necessary

• Required to follow all safety, environmental and quality programs • Required to follow all company policies and procedures

• Other duties as assigned by Management/Lead/Shift Operator

Educational and Skills Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years job related experience and/or training preferred

• Must be able to count, read, understand, and follow instructions in English. • One to two years industrial/manufacturing experience in Lead or Supervisory role preferred

• Must have good documentation and organizational skills • Computer literate preferred

• Forklift and industrial equipment experience helpful, but not required • Must be able to read, write and speak English
