About this Role

  • Inspect vendor work to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance with contract requirements and performance standards

  • Document daily inspection activities and maintain accurate inspection records

  • Monitor vendor performance, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions using the work management system

  • Verify completed work to support the accuracy of vendor payment requests

  • Monitor job site safety and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and internal/external customers

  • Collaborate with customers and contractors to resolve work-related questions and project issues

  • Participate in vendor progress meetings to review performance, schedules, and project status

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent

  • Three (3) years or more of experience in construction/landscape maintenance, contract-applicable construction trades, or in a field providing technical supervisory services to construction/landscape maintenance contractors

  • -OR- College or university-level training in an appropriate field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required construction/maintenance experience

  • Valid Florida Driver's License at the time of hire

Physical Demands: may occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.

Subject to Passing Substance Screening:  This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening.  An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five (5) years

About Everything Else:

Starting Pay: $22.94/hr
